Phew the snow has hot glasgow with avengence , stuffs coming down by the bucket load .... total hiteout in the space of half an hour !

Cant even see out the webcams in city centre ...they are covered in snow !

Got snow on the south coast but by all accounts its limp wristed. Something to do with salt in the air and sea level I expect.

Missus is in Glasgow for the weekend visiting old work mates, due to fly back tomorrow morning. She sent me a text to say she's never seen snow come down so hard in her life, and she's Danish (and I've seen some of their winters!)

I expect the Glaswegian girls were still out in their mini skirts, blue legs an' all!!

Update: More snow now, ground all covered and the flakes are bigger and more of them! Temp has dropped and sky is looking leaden so its looking promising!!

Hope it keeps up until nightfall, I'm going to shoot some laser beams.....
