Um I can easly map the controlls of that glove to as if it's a part of a motion capture device.
Which means that you can controll the fingers of a 3D model and position of the hand and fingers.

Yeah, it's GlovePIE and a whole bunch of other soft. I've even contacted a guy from australia, who made a similar "colored-LED-for-a-webcam-control" software for Gustavo Bravetti - works like a charm, similar to camtrax. Very spectacular.
Sometimes when I play with the glove, I blame myself for putting C++ away for Cubase years ago - I'm a real noob in any and all programming .
Sooo it'll be simple MIDI for now.
As soon as I have time - I'll demonstrate)

But you've got the best of both worlds now... With a touch-screen and the midi-controller, you'll be able to do all sorts of cool things. Now you just have to spend a couple weeks playing with it in order to become comfortable with all your new gear. (Be patient - it takes time!)

Any words of wisdom for setting up the controller? This is a pia for live_pro. All my DJ programs to midi controllers are a snap and just work.

I looked at the help files but it doesn't really explain much.

Is there a simple key stroke to go fader to fader. Click it on computer touch it on the controller pad like I am used to setting up midi?

Started to get this to work, does anyone know is there a template that activates every button on the novation SL so that they all output a command? Or what would be better has anyone a working template I can upload to my unit?

Insanity posted his layout a while back... I can't find it at the moment, but if you PM him I'm sure he'll send it to you.

Really though, setting up the Remote Zero is a snap. Load up LivePro and go into the midi configuration menu. It brings up a list of all the commands you can issue in LivePro. Click on one, then move a control on the Remove Zero... Presto! That command is now assigned to that control.

Do that for the common controls you'll use (rotate absolute x, y, z, rotate continuous (rate) for x, y, and z, brightness for channels 1-4, master brightness, master scan rate, position for x and y), and you'll have enough to get your feet wet. Now play with it and see how you like it.

Later on you can program other sliders, buttons, or knobs to do more. I like to have a blackout key mapped, a reset rotation and position key mapped, and also a track reset button for each track. Beyond that, use your imagination. Whatever you find yourself doing with the mouse on the control screen, you'll want to program to the Remote Zero.

Out of interest, how are people mapping their SLII's to LivePro? Are you using the automap learn function or just using automap midi and doing as a normal midi controller? If so, are you able to customize the naming still, I can't seem to work it out (first night, 2 hours of playing and reading so far!)

Ok, its got me beat now. I can get the knobs and faders to map in LivePro, but cannot work out how to assign buttons. Can anyone help please?

That'd be great Dan. I've sort of worked out how to map buttons, but in LP some seem to have to be special buttons mapped to midi notes (reset rotation, etc), others can only be assigned to keyboard buttons (track active, etc)
