Yea but the beams of the maxymods are nice and tight, you could sqeeze em next to each other and still have a smaller beam than a 635 of the same power. IMO

So true,, They must be combined the same polarization per leg before the cube or cubes.

Im giving that more thought...We'll see after I get some smaller duals out.
Right now Im putting my effort into making the combined units smaller as they are now they take-up lots of real estate.
I just dont like large beams for graphics...beamshows ok

I do have all the nessesary hardware to continue them to quads and up.
But gotta learn some more machining first...
I need a lathe and end mill and a brake...my wish list is getting much bigger than I expected, argh. ah well..

Instead of investing in all that kit, why don't you design something up in solidworks, and get it cnc machined. Something i have been toying with for a while

now lets see how my aligning skills are...

hey also u said dont use alcohol on the lens--can I use bausch&lomb plastic and glass eyeglass cleaner wipes?
(they do contain iso-alcohol -but supposed to be safe---?
(Not for the new one but for the old one- i let some dust get on it
