How about this for a camera lens? 900mm, home made. An interesting story. It takes a nice pic of the moon!

I would be worried about getting the sun into any of my shots while using such a lens.

I think it would fry a CCD.

photographer: ok but... it's just a camera+huge lens.

I would be more concerned for the neighbors daughters with open blinds within a 10km radius!
