Default Did anyone order a christmass ilda? :D

Well I did this on the quick.
    It's simple and short.
I converted it to ilda with illustrate and laserboy.

It's possible to loop this nicely
The Ilda has likely too much points.. the scene was made with slight care *not too much though* to make it less complicated*
ILDA: http://www.mediafire.com/?fdlp07grf9zgm4r <= I repeat.. Likely too much points

@Drlava I had it quite buzy previous week and I will deposit my paypall money right away.
Don't even think of giving me IldSOS for free, you put effort in it im sure and I insist I pay for it (it's not expensive) as I heard about it's optimizing features too which also serve's handy for just optimizing ilda.
*just randomly saying this in advance*

I will be making more Christmass ilda's and likely longer ones
this is not even the start yet

    I've optimised it for you.

Now 1/2 the original points and 36fps at 30K.

Sorry it was done via ILDA SOS not manually.

    36fps woa!

That motivates me to make more complex scenes ;D

Actually it must be an average.

ILDA SOS reported 35fps. I've just outputted it to the FB3 and it reports 115fps for the wording and 15fps for the Christmas Scene so the 2nd part may be a little flickery if acceptable.

    Aha i see.
    Thanks for testing.
Still getting used to the fact i need to be carefull with outlines
its likely because of the snow and the thicker line on the christmass tree.
    Fixing that tomorrow.

Btw it's just more of a test.
I had posted some 3D works before. But i'm not able to test myself yet.
Im posting up sone random samples.

TBH I pretty clueless about points.

I think it probably goes without saying that for a straight line you probably only need a point at each end so any in between can be erased. However, for everything else, I don't really have a clue.

I tend to create and hope it displays ok then if it doesn't try to work back and remove points.

The only wy I can guarantee I'm doing things right is by using something such as ILDA SOS.

In this particular case it might be a good idea to render the 'snow' and 'scenery' as separate ilda-files. That way each frameset can be optimised separately.
Because of the 'chaotic' nature of the snow, it causes the blankpaths to be erratic too, causing a frame never to be drawn like it predecessor. (although it 'feels like' ildsos tries to maintain a consistent scanpattern)

When 'snow' and 'scenery' are combined in showsoftware using two tracks, it causes smoother output to the eye. In my experience an animation *appears* to have less flicker if its scanpattern is consistent.

Another advantage is that members with slower galvos, could do without snow.

Now that is a good idea I never heard before.
    Thanks I will do that

Oh and also about the snow.
I will optimize the best snow method today that they only will use 1 dot for each snowflake instead of those big balls..
sounds better to me than those big ones.

But for now I will give them seperate.
Also Will do that for future animations where snow or anything particle related is involved if neccesairy
