    I paid a grand total of $16 for 4 x Lazorbs. Are you guys suggesting I now remove them?

    From my my real life insurance experience, insurance is the one thing you can't buy when you actually need it.

    nothing to do with lasorbs

    Weird. Have you replaced them? In my experience, they are very rugged. I did not bother with lazorbs on my 445 build based on this.

    I decided to use lazorbs only with diodes that are "sensitive" to static. Irrespective of LD cost.

    not replaced yet.

    in my other projector i use a single 445 and no lasorb and its working just fine.
