    Default C4D >> Illustrator >> ILD Ss

    Hi,
Ive been running some tests in 3d animation for laser shows.
Im using Maxons Cinema 4D with Sketch and Toon then exporting to illustrator where I convert to SVG.

The final step is using ILD Ss to convert the svgs into an ILDA file.

Ill post 2 of my tests here (ILDA V1, no pallete), maybe there are other laserists that already use C4D but are unaware that you can export animations to Illustrator...

    Cheers!

Please explain more detailed how export to illustrator is done.

And: you need to optimize blanking, it's disastrous.

There is an option on the FILE menu (export > Illustrator)
You should go on Edit > Preferences > Export > Illustrator first and uncheck layers, check render, all frames.

I don't know about blanking optimizing... it's been handled by ILD Ss I think.

Yes, you might need to look into that again.
What about colors? Are they preserved during the process?

Yes, colors are preserved, if you create several sketch materials with different colors you can have multicolor figures. Any tips on blanking?
