Is there any particular reason you would want such a device ?

    aligning maybe ?

If you want to play starwars darthmaul, you came to the wrong place.

I want to do the same trick as the laser man is doing
When you can grab the beam that is coming out of a laser projector
So the pointer has to be powerful and with one push button
I rather buy than make it from 2 laser pointers

A powerful doublesided lp is considered very dangerous, because it's impossible to observe where both beams end up when wielding it.

Unless, your head resembles a chameleon.

If you want to do this trick, don't bother using high powered pointers for it. You can get away with a lot less if you only use static beams, so a pair of 5mW 532nm cheap handhelds should do the trick nicely. No reason to poke someone's eye out.

In the Laserman's gig the two ends of the laser stick together by some means (magnets or velcro) so they can be removed easily if he wants to 'split' the beam.
