Since getting back into the lighting and sound biz I have done about 12 "raves" and 15 club nights since May 2010. This has allowed me plenty of chances to experiment with different looks and feels. I have a large range of martin scanners, movers, atomics, and led washes, trussing, and oils to use. I have to say that this laser/lighting set up by far gets me the most comments from people as their favorite lighting setup at any recent underground DJ events in the Midwest so I want to share with my fellow PLers

FYI Equip used
1.5 watt RGB from CT Lasers w/ Live Pro and LD2000 (mounted with casio projecter mount on breadboard and sitting on Ultimate lighting pole)
Oil lamps are 4 Martin DC-3's
2 COLORSTRIPs by Chauvet under the DJ Equipment table.
10 Mackie HD1801 Subs (wicked bass energy)
6 Mackie HD1531 Tops
2 Peavy MFX Folded Horn 15in + 2in horn (monitor)

Simple high contrast and understated lighting let the beauty of the laser SHINE. Shameless self shot included with very slight 532 beams. Hope you enjoy these but any suggestions on setup or looks are welcome. I would love to see pics of anyone maybe using a similar look for events

Ciao,
