New pics of diffraction grating effects posted in Gallery...

Hey everyone!

Just finished uploading a few pics to the gallery. (Thanks Spec for donating the space!!!) I'll have some more in a few days, but there are a few cool pictures in there that will give you an idea as to what is possible with nothing more than a static diffraction grating, some fog, a trichro, and three lasers. (A ~ 14 mw HeNe, a ~30 mw 488nm argon, and a ~7 mw DPSS green pointer!)

These pictures are a few years old, but they're cool nonetheless... Hope you all like them as much as I do!

Nice gallery! I'll have to take some photos of some neat diffraction gratings
we picked up along with the Laserium unit...

I've always wondered what it'd take to make some of our own gratings...
I have some holographic film left over from Josh's holograph days,
we were thinking of setting up a table to make some holographs
and seeing what works... I've been super curious to see what happens
when you make a hologram of a machida grating and run some beams
through it...

For what it's worth, I uploaded the rest of my pics today. Hope you all enjoy them. Some of the shots with two diffraction gratings are absolutely stunning. (See my avatar for some idea what I mean...)

Oh, and Yadda - I PM'd you about the Machida hologram idea...
