It worked ---- !! In this picture, the top 3 wires are + The three wires below are - The other two may be a temp sensor --- I haven't checked that yet. The Red & Black are TEC leads.

    Hope this helps. HMike
Yes, the other two go to a thermistor. If I remember correctly, it's 10K.

    Laser Warning

I didn't even look at mine yet. Maybe after I do that, I'll have a better idea what to do with it. How to get this thing into a keychain--that's the problem!!!!

I've seen some monster heatsinx around town. People are building this. I'll probably wait and see what you guys come up with before I scare off any tail gators n' such. I do live in Gator country, so I need to be careful. I'm still trying to stuff all them 24 little diodes into something.

Thanx for the pic. It helped. Do all them wires need to be hooked to (+) and (-) or just one wire on each? I'll have to take a peek at it. I don't even know where it's located yet. Can I turn that A140 on with the diode tray removed without blowing up the house?

    Blob ---
Do you see how I clustered all three wires together? That's to carry 10 AMPS in those little wires. Strip, Twist and tin ---- that's not a dance............

I do that dance all the time.

HMike, what's your current regulated power supply looking like for this thing?

I need some options other than an ATX and a power resistor.

Stacking several AMC7135 boards would be a hassle.

These red Phatlight diodes make superb safelights for holography when using a green laser for exposures

That was the A130/A140.......... Does anyone know anything about the A230? Is it basically the same thing? Are there 24 puppies in there?

    Hey,

Where did you get this PSU and what was the price like? I'm looking for a PSU to drive a 50W white LED. Need 28-30V or so at 1.8A.

Sorry to go off course a little!
