I agree, and softer rubber provides more grip and "self-leveling" on slightly uneven surfaces.

I am not going to use anything grey. Many of the cases will be used in professional installs and hung from a truss. Pointy grey feet would not look to great. I have found a better source for feet through. Here http://www.mcmaster.com/#recessed-bumpers/=b6sxta looking to get style two, 1" diameter. They will give more room for ventilation under the case

    Production update:

There have been a few delays obtaining material
    1) 80-20 did not have enough extrusion at their factory to fill my order for the round profile . Although I have been told it will be arriving any day now and shipped to my distributor soon.

    2) I have had trouble getting my hands on the 3/8 cast aluminum plate. The metal suppliers in my area did not have enough stock to fill my order and had 3 week lead times. I found one company that almost filled my order but was short a few pieces. Rather than wait three weeks(plus more time to get them anodized) to get more plate I have come up with a solution.
*I am going to order .5" plate and mill it down to 3/8, holding a strict flatness tolerance. The main point of cast aluminum plate is the flatness. So this way the plate will work the same, its just lots of work for me to do. If you have a problem with this let me know via PM and I will ensure you get cast plate.

3)I will finish up the angle extrusion tonight and being writing the programs for the laser to cut out all the sheet metal next week.

    One more thing...
I am finalizing the details of the rear connector plate this weekend. Heres what I am looking at:
1)ILDA in and out - made to hold the cable that connects to the ILDA board from stanwax.
2)three Nuetriks ports, fill them as you please (this allows for DMX in and out + 1 extra)
    3)Cutout for powerswitch
    4)Cutout for keyswitch
All other holes can be added by you to fit your needs

One more groupbuy is going to be offered from the Stanwax lasershop...
This will only be sold as a package to make it easier, Power switch (fused) and keyswitch. Price to come soon...

I totally agree, they would look awful in grey and probably most of us will use the case hanging at some point. Those new ones look great.

    Thanks for the update.

Hi Mr Willing. Sorry to be dragging me feet, I just checked my Edmunds glass, it's 3".

So please count me in for 2" glass, aperture cover and anodising please.

    All the best,

    Wayne.

Is the power switch also the power entry point where the power cord connects, or will there be a separate hole for that? I guess I assume its all one module, but it would be nice to have the option of using powercon connectors instead of IEC C13 connectors without installing a separate power switch.

We can wait for MisterWilling to come in on this one but I do believe coming from Stanwax it would be:

    .....just a guess though.

Heres a link with the details for the power input http://shop.stanwaxlaser.co.uk/elect...parts-35-c.asp

I will be sending out PM's to everyone to finalize their orders for the additional groupbuys. Most of everyone has given me all their details but I have an additional deal from Stanwax laser. A combo of keyswitch and power input (switched and fused, with spare fuse). The price will be in the PM. I wanted to offer this so that all the holes in the rear connector panel can be filled with exact fitting components.

So everyone Please pay attention to you PM's as I will have them sent out tonight. All additional components to the cases will be FINALIZED by Friday. That way I can place the order to Stanwax laser and Edmunds Optics. I want to make sure everything is here by the time I finish the cases.
