Default Summer map 2011 Interactive 3D map Work in progress

It's in very early stages now.
No texturing and some shapes need to be corrected and improved, and off course alot more detail.

Also the 3rd and floor and roofs are missing.
    No textures
and not all windows placed... In other words: very early stage yet

This wil become the map for summer LEM 2011.
This is just a cool techy but also efficient way to assign everyone to correct places.
    and sort out the spots.
Off course everyone will get plenty of space and extra space just in case.

I don't have the date for summer lem 2011 yet.. but I know it will be in the summer
When More Is known I will start a topic.

the windows can be opened and closed easly. *just for fun*

I made the model out of my head.. not looking at the pictures of the house.
Im not done yet.. but I just watched and out of the window and from outside really quick, I didn't make a mistake.

So I'm actually able to test my ways of picturing things out of my head.
even when staying in my room with curtains closed :P

Also the 2 tree's will be removed on the final map.
I just keep it now as I'm mapping it out by only thinking :P

Off course I will make adjustements to this with some reference pics later.

I don't know yet how many people will attend.
But I'll find out when I know the date.

    Maybe many (hopes)

or a few, Even so the LEM will be there.

There is not really a limit on the amount of LEMmers

Brief Example of what I mean:

Nice, but you did take into account we live in Holland right ?
One of the most wet and rainy countries of this globe ?
Nice to place the tables outside, but chances are it's raining like hell....

What will we do with all those precious laptops, QM.net boxes, other electronics stuff ?

Not to spoil the fun, but i think you do have to agree that there IS a chance it's raining.
For the rest i look forward being there unless you do it in my holiday ;-)
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Yes your right I was thinking about that.

I thought about renting tents ... however the tents in the front can block beams from the tents in the back.
On other words I was either trying on renting one very big tent.
Or renting big tents for the front, smaller tents for the bag *smaller as in height*

    This is just another challange

If other laserists would think like this there would never be a Festival with lasers and light

And you as a lan party organiser should know a about campzone. a huge outdoor lanparty. Just setup a tent and you gear is dry (just like they do at festivals)

    Offtopic:
Campzone was actually the reason i started organising my own LAN's abroad (Belgium until 2007 and Germany from 2007 till present).
I don't like camping, sitting with all the expensive equipment in a tent....

I now rent an former east-german holiday house (46mx12m 3 stories) and 11 wooden cabins from a colleague who is the owner. This year we will be going again (first 2 weeks of August).

We do campfires, bbq's, went on excursion to the biggest saltmine in Europe (4600km of underground tunnels!) and......

    ONTOPIC:
    LASERS !

    LASERS !

    ON TOPIC:
Don't worry I will figure a nice way out.
That guarantees the safety of the equipment and doesn't interrupt our lasers or makes the location rather uncomfortable.

    OFF TOPIC:
Campfire? We did that in our garden too.
and wow that saltmine is very deep yes.

    ON TOPIC:
I will also try to get a date confirmed as soon as possible, that way I can make a topic and start a list and will have a bit off an idea on the placement.

The date will off course also be a bit flexible so if alot of people won't be able to come and say it on time, or alot of people prefer it an other day, it can be moved.
But if there are indeed people coming from overseas or an other country then I Need to know this earlier....
This off course I will have to see if people overseas will actually come. I will take it into account a bit just incase.

    ALso some extra info:

Maybe get 2 dates and ask people to vote which date they can attend ?
That way you can get the most people there.
Satisfying EVERYBODY is most of the time not possible, so at least try to get the most people in by using some sort of voting system (www.datumprikker.nl) or keep a vote on here.
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.
