    I have a 30gb vertex in my laptop and its been allright, had to flash it once (destroying all the data) after it ate itself... was showing up as an 8MB hard drive

    get the 1066Mhz fsb CPU, you'll get a step higher in fsb frequency which means higher speed with your ram if it is 1066Mhz too

    fsb frequency and RAM are the key to performance and upgradeability
