My daughter gave me a bottle of Green Fairy Czechoslovakian Absinthe.

Cool!!! I got Mystrys a bottle of that while we were at SELEM (got it in Ashville) this year. Did yours come with the spoon? The resturant we went to had a neet little single glass fountain with a water teeter-totter for lack of a better word, although I can't find reference to one anywhere online.

No spoon, and I need one! I have been caramelizing the sugar with a fork, not ideal.

I did pretty well this year. Big ticket items were a Wii, a PS3 (with GT5), and a cellular phone range extender for the house. Of course, I snapped the damn outdoor antenna in half while trying to install the cell phone booster, so now I have to wait for them to send me a new one. (And then I've still got to go up on the roof and install it, then run the coax down into the house to the base unit.)

The other "gift" I got myself was the diode and driver I needed to get my Q-beam beam-rail projector working. It's got a full watt of 445 in it now, and it looks great! (Debuting soon at a LEM near you!)
