    Default FB3 - QS Light sequence

    Hi,

    Can anyone help me with this, as I've become confused as to what colour the Fb3 should be showing when. I installed some test software and suddenly noticed the colour change. As I hadn't noticed or couldn't remember what the colours were before, I'm unsure now if the FB3-QS is 100% functional.

    Currently I have green when on the desktop, orange when QS is started and Red when the Output button is depressed.

    Is that the normal sequence?

    The colors for FB3-QS are similar to FB3-SE and XE:

    Green = "I have power"
    Yellow = "USB port is opened" (and yes, it's yellow not orange...)
    Solid RED = "Laser output is enabled but no imagery is coming out"
    Flashing RED = "Laser output is enabled and imagery is coming out"

    You can think about the red light as the "Laser Emission Indicator".

    If something goes wrong (someone tries to screw around with our FB3 or code) the light will turn blue which means "I am not happy, someone tried to screw with me"...

    For posterity ............. and reference

    Green = "I have power"
    Yellow = "USB port is opened" (and yes, it's yellow not orange...)
    Solid RED = "Laser output is enabled but no imagery is coming out"
    Flashing RED = "Laser output is enabled and imagery is coming out"

    TWO YELLOW - firmware error ???
    BLUE - BLOD - Blue Light Of Death for Hackers

    Anybody got a list of troubleshooting codes/light sequences
    In the beginning there was none. Then came the light - #1 UKLEM - 2007

    Blue is also memory starvation.

    This Could be caused if your machine runs low on memory.
