Geesh. What blows the most is our needy admin must now wait 3 months for the raised funds? What a slap in the face! I am happy to send the funds again, direct to admin. Forget the "prize", any one else?

and hear is the email i sent to paypal

    dear sir/madam

today my paypal account was limited green1666@blueyonder.co.uk Your case ID for this reason is PP-001-169-149-601.)
with reference to this forum thread http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/showthread.php/13486-LOTTERY-1w-445nm-FUND-RAISER-FOR-ADMIN.

this is a fund raiser lotto for the forum admin who has fallen on hard times ,due to no work and looking after his sick mother
we on the forum had decided to raise some money to help him out, and a kind member put up a prize as a bonus
using paypal was the only way i could think of to collecting the money, i did not mean to break any rules
i have removed the paypal link on the said forum.
is there a way around this so i can continue to raise the money for him ??
if not please can you release my account so i can at least return the donations

    regards
    chris green

Chris, they sent the shut down email after receiving your email? If so, they have no heart.

I would wait to see what Paypal has to say after Chris spoke to them
and after a response to the above E-Mail he sent them..

Some similar Raffle/PayPal crap had happened on LPF while I was still there...

    Default Game over please read

oh well guys its game over , below is a pasted reply from paypal

what should i do now ??
i am no longer able to continue with this without a paypal account
really sorry guys this has happened , looks like it a case of wait till they unlock my account
and refund all the money sent in , unless every one can agree on it
all being a donation to admin, and i send it to him when they release it ????

if anyone wants there money back straight away they can do so ,and ask paypal
    for a refund/charge back
proberly best that every one does this

i am totaly gutted, it also means after they release they funds in 180 days
i can not use the account ever again as it permanently limited
what a bunch or corperate wankers no heart at xmas

    Dear Christopher Green,
