Ehm.,.. it wasn't my intention to point fingers with my post.
It was more to express my surprise that people kept complaining about PP and "a disgruntled person on the forum that probably did it", while Chris had already posted what caused all of this mess: a person who had put in the word lottery even though he asked not to use words like raffle, lottery etc.

And those reactions that were posted after his remark clearly illustrate the problem at hand here: people not reading right (or needing glasses.....)

Chris can easily see who's the culprit here since the people transferred into his account right ?
It would show of courtesy if the one who messed up spoke up, or apologized.
But i don't think posting those messages is a good idea, or is it ?
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

    Default hey guys

    hey guys stop it
we dont need a witch hunt going on
    it will just turn nasty

i have an idea for us all to email paypal as they are now holding
funds that were gifted and not vaild for charge back and as they are holidng
the fund on the basis of waiting to see if anyone will charge back, which they can't
means they are illegaly holding the money.
i will post what to email them later when i get home from work
When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

    Hey MasterPj,

Your father is a lawyer, can't he help us out here ?
Maybe he can help us out a bit ?
I think Chris has a point right, i mean, money send as a gift to help people in need can't be held that long, can it ? Isn't there a reasonability clause which we could point out ?
Hopefully your father can help us out ?
    I didn't fail !

I agree. I also feel like NO ONE should be asking for refunds on this (edit to clairify---no one should ask Chris for a refund). Folks are actively looking for other solutions *and* the funds were sent as a gift. Even if there is a chance to get something, at the end of the day, it was a gift.

Whoever is asking for a refund, I have a question: Would you ask for a refund if you didn't win the laser?

I am going for the simple option here.

I am happy for my money to remain in limbo until such time that it is released. When released, please forward it to admin.

Chris acted in good faith expecting him to do more is unreasonable. Giving him grief and expecting him to perform miracles is also unreasonable. Lets give the guy a break.

On a side note, I dont think the "virtual keyrings" idea will work as there isnt a tangible item on sale. Maybe go and buy a box of cheap biros instead?

People buy various .pdf files all the time with ebay/paypal with electronic delivery.

Could we sell a laser.pdf of some sort?
