    Default GB Interest for SF-AW210 and LPC815/LPC822

    Hey Folks!

    I'm thinking of setting up a GB for SF-AW210, LPC815 and/or LPC822, but I wanted to see how many people were interested. Once I get an idea of how many people want these, I'll go ahead and post a more official thread. Obviously because its GB, prices will be cheaper than what you find in the store. Participate in the poll if you are interested in these products.

    is the LPC822 Laserdiode in a Pickup or is the only LPC822 LD.

    I am interested in 4 or 8 LPC822 depending on price.
    But the price on the ebay page is much too high i think.

    Have any idea what prices were talking about in a GB ?
    Maybe a list like 1-50 , 51-100 etc....
    I didn't fail !
    I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

    The "lpc822" seems to have some kind of new behavior which has never been discovered before..

    If you increase the current slowly up to 450mA the diode will still raise its power. Above that the output power will decrease but the diode won't have to die necessarily, it seems like the produced heat is pushing the internal resistance and protecting it from death ... i've read also if you turn it off at 700mA and turn it then back on it will die instantly...

    doing some further questioning with a lg supplier i got told that there is no lpc822 .. seems just like a internal marking of laser-xh .... the diode is from a 22x sled which i am currently trying to find (samples on their way). I've already requested prices (not from xh though, too expensive) ..

    I might be close to something...

    Price is at $6/pc (not including shipping). I could try to look for cheaper, but so far that's the price x[

    they are great for testing quad setups. When your design works then you can swap them for the real thing aka 638nm diodes
