I saw a related video where a guy showed some detail in a DIY rig he made. His was made using a hand-wound voicecoil, and a large speaker magnet. There were also some really neat videos of people using waves to vibrate various liquids.

One of the reasons that I find this so interesting is because of the similar patterns seen in artwork around the world. More often these patterns seem to gravitate towards spiritual aspects of human life, like these:

Tibetan Sand Mandala

Native American Medicine Mandala

Christian Church Window

So many different unrelated cultures, but they seem to all be tied together by these common patterns that appear naturally.
