    Smile

Just a cautionary note: Abandon all hope of fiscal discipline (or solvency, even) from this point on. We don't call this a money-pit hobby for nothing!

Got that right. I've spent a grand so far and I have not built anything.

    Doc's website

The Health and Safety Act 1971

Recklessly interfering with Darwin’s natural selection process, thereby extending the life cycle of dim-witted ignorami; thus perpetuating and magnifying the danger to us all, by enabling them to breed and walk amongst us, our children and loved ones.

hehe I've spent over a grand, and only have an empty enclosure to show for it, DT40W's on the way, yet no lasers to put in the box yet! (ok I do have a 1W 445 labby I built)

    So the grand got me:
    400 mW greenie from CNI
    8 660 sleds
    2 445
    3 flexmods
    A 24" X 36 " X 1/2" aluminum plate from Ebay
Prisms, mirrors, dicros, wire, a green and blue PBS, thermal paste.
    Two safety glasses

I'll make the mirror mounts and the diode holders myself.

I still need a Dac, software and DT40 wides--so that's another grand there.
    I hope it's cool when it's done.

The good part with laser projectors is the outcome is usually much more than "cool", you'll be amazed

Good luck with your project, and make sure to post pics along the way!
