    Default TE CO2 Laser...

Well, it appears to be transversely excited. It's definitely a water cooled, sealed tube CO2 of some sort. It has three input "buttons" at the bottom that kinda look like old florescent lamp igniters. I'm guessing each one goes to a separate electrode bar. Gotta throw a meter across them.

Anyone seen one of these before? the tube has no markings except for "10 6" which could be a serial number or wavelength. It does appear to be gas intact with a little HV test.

Nice, looks expensive and high quality, sturdy construction!
Where did you get it, any hints at where it had been used previously?

I know, right! Every exterior part of this thing is high quality TIG welded stainless steel except for the HR and OC. I have no clue what it was out of, got it at a hamfest.

    Thumbs up

Check with TRWalters and see what he has to say. He's worked on a lot of different CO2 systems in his day; he may be able to shed some light on your unit.

    Still, cool find dude!
