    Default Masayoshi Minoshima-Bad Apple .ild

Yes, I know, it's been done before, probably even better... (dnstje, marcan)

    Now for all accessible:
Traced ilda version of the Bad Apple clip.

I do not particularly like anime nor the music, but i think the shadow art is pretty astonishing.

    Meant to be displayed @ 30kpps / 30 fps

Bad apple, music made by alstroemenia records.
3D animation with models with a white / black diffuse colour.

I speculate the modeling is done in metaseqouia (called metsu in japan)

alstroemenia records is or is very close related to the group called IOSYS.
Even though it's litte, but I have an friend who has contact with the group IOSYS.

    His name is charlie.

The person who started and is mainly responsible for all this, is called ZUN
nobody knows his actual name, he had 1 press converence once, and he actually was drunk at the interview(actually nobody is able to contact him ).
Designed all the characters way back.
    (in 2D off course).

ZUN is known for being an alcoholic and doing his art under influence of alcohol.

The characters where and are made for the game called touhou.
A very old game ( it started in the time when there still was the NEC pc).
He game is classified as bullet hell game and can be very challenging.

Even though it sounds unlikely, ZUN made the most creative compositions.
Often these got used or were an inspiration for dj's and artist.
Eventually they were passed on so much, that it is likely you find little resamblances in various songs today.
    (for some dj's for example)

    Looks really good

at the moment I don't have the time.. but I might be able to pull off a full outline coloured version of bad apple.

I got the 3D files of the full colour bad apple remake. <= it's not in .max file format. but in the MMD format which I have a converter for, but fixing will take very very long.

    about the ilda sharing:
I will do some shows that will be restricted to pangolin and some not.
I don't have any plans yet for a full (all DAC supported) show.
But It will be coming later on when I have a bit more time available.

If I make a show and do not had the intention of releasing it for all dac use, then I wont.
In other words: I make some especially for the intention of everyone having it.

The PL community is always nice and helpfull, and I also want to contribute a bit to that

Bad apple colour version will be free when I have it done.

Wow, 2 years later and then.. As like the ridde and blablabla.
Although about the animation of this, nobody knows what kind of story this is. You'll probably like the dancing girls^^..
    Rubdub release? A alternative lasercam/screen.

    Default Moncha import

Greetings, just a quick experiment - if you want to play this show in Showtacle Moncha, use the attached .ild and .wav file, create a new frame of type animation and set its speed to 0.00455, this will fit to the 3:39 lenght of the song.

I created the workspace for it as well but as Moncha saves the frames in its xml format there is too much data around and the workspace is about 140MB so it's better to just import the animation into the frame with the speed setting.

    Do you have sync problems?
I think the point count isn't made constant.

If you have ILDSOS put the ilda in and specify the kpps and framerate you want

I don't have SOS on this machine but your note with framerate gave me an idea and i found easier way to import the .ild into Moncha.

Use the Scene -> Create show option, then just browse for the .ild, set the correct FPS (which is 30 in this case) and that's it.

If you place this scene on the timeline and stretch it to its actual length, it will fit perfectly.
