    Default <18January galvo complete set >30kpps <300$

I want to buy a galvo set that is good quality for not to much dollars.
    Searching <300 dollar shipped.

im going to buy off spacelas if i cant get a good offer here.
Shipping costs must be included. i live in NL and need the galvos guaranteed at home before the 30th of January.

EDIT: they do not need to be new!!!
i gladly buy something over from someone!

EDIT: no longer buying galvo's - ordered PT30k from phenixtechnology.

if i had 300 usd to spent on galvos, i'd look towards the DT30.

i think stanwax sells them at our part of the atlantic. maybe others, too, but i can't seem to remember any off the top of my head now

as an alternative you can ask for dragon tiger for a direct quote http://www.dtelectronic.cn/Products.asp?BigClassID=66

or even search for phoenix scanners

phoenix uses spacelas galvo's as far as i know, they provide them with their drivers and pt-itrust ilda/dmx breakout board

you can ask laserwinkel, this is also his forum name, in the netherlands or mccarrot, or take a look at rob stanwax his webshop.
    any more galvo suppliers?

so far, that i know of:

    www.phenixtechnology.com/
I think Danny from http://www.laserwinkel.nl/ sells them
    PT30K
    PT40K
    PT50K
PT-Itrust board (also an LCD availlable)
as far as i know based on spacelas galvo's.

    Dragon Tiger
    http://www.dtelectronic.cn/
Rob Stanwax is dealer, his shop is located at http://stanwax.co.uk
    DT30K
    DT40K
DT40K pro (with 2 sizes of mirrors, 3 and 5 mm availlable)
    DT40K wide (for beam shows)

    Raytrack CT 30
    sold by http://www.jmlaser.com/
based on Dragon Tiger DT40Kpro galvo's with their own driver, i know hobbybob uses them.

I know in china you can get cheap galvo's at chinesedepartmentstore.com but you will have to ship them back in case of issues and support is located a long way from the netherlands.

i know McCarrot also sells scanners www.laserextreme.nl, i think these are the LX50

so indead lots to choose from.

I think you'll find that even the Chinese guys are expensive. All of the expensive ones you've ruled out are still Chinese.

This is a case of quality, you buy the best you can afford.

On another forum I found a great quote about dealing with the Chinese...

please be aware if you request a cheaper price, they will oblige, but by changing the quality of what you are getting
No such thing as a free lunch

    Hi LaNeK779,

Aren't you forgetting your fellow countrymen?
    They are based in Athens!
Speak to Tom at Eyemagic. They make Pro level
    Scanners called EMS 4000 Infinity.
There price is in that empty part of the maker between $500-2000us

They arent the prettiest looking things but they are very well built.

    I Bought a set on Jon's (dsli-jon) recommendation.
I got them with 5mm aperture mirrors and the hi-speed 1900 amps. Scan angle 54deg and can do genuine 40k scanning with these mirrors and amp.

I can't vouch for their performance myself as I haven't run them yet but if Jon swears buy them then that is good enough for me.

I think I paid €990 for them a year ago.

    http://www.eyemagic.gr/
    http://www.onestoplasershop.com/scanners.htm

If you deal Tom you will get a good deal I'm sure.

    Good luck
    Kit

    BqX,

Think of it this way (i know it's been told to you before in different words in a different thread):

Good.... Cheap.... Fast.... Pick two and only two.

Good and cheap are not fast.
Good and fast are not cheap.
Fast and cheap are not good.

    You have a few options:

Buy the cheapest 30k set and come back and ask why they are flickering at a decent projection angle.

Save your funds for a little longer and get a decent scanset.

Settle for somewhere in between the two.

We will not tell you what you want to hear if it is not the truth. Not on this forum, maybe others, but not here.

    Re-read your first couple threads........
