Hi, since we are getting close to "auraland " here !

Does anyone know the frequency used in the rectified high voltage generation used by enthusiasts for their Kirlian type "Aura" camera devices?

Not totally off thread (I hope1)

    Congrats on new ebook

I echo lasersbee's sentiments (especially regarding the sensor end of things).

    Cheers

    Hi Jerry,

Yes, the e-book provides the schematic diagram of the circuits I designed to interface the EEG signal receiver to turn "ON" the lasers. The parts list is also available and I can recommend parts suppliers. The circuit is simple enough for any Electronics Tech to read and make your own circuit board/breadboard with a hand full of components. If you are comfortable with a soldering Iron, shop and power tools and have built electronics circuits from scratch, then you should be capable of tackling this project. If not, then find someone who can help you as I can only coach a person so far via email or over the phone.
Failing that, my prototype is also available for sale with the right offer.

    Thanks for your interest

    Hi, Catalano

Kirlian photography is something I have played with many years ago.
I built a variable pulsed oscillator to pump some high current pulses through a hand wound winding of an existing color TV HV transformer. I don't recall the resonant frequency of those xformers but I think I was pulsing them around 10kHz using a 555 oscillator and push-pull power transistor amplifier. I'm sure you will find something archived If you poke around the internet. I rigged up a transparent electrode assembly so I could take live pictures or movies with a digital camera instead of exposing film plates using corona discharge. I could redesign a setup If i had time.

    Hey Rick...

    Just sent a PP payment...
Gee after reading your reply... I hope I can build this thing...
If not I'll get another well known LPM builder to build it for me...

I'll post here on the E-book once I've gone through it....

    Just read the E-Book...

Good Laser Safety info including Goggles... types of Lasers...
    Filters and lenses...
Lots of links to Laser Safety and CDRH conformity sites...
Very detailed info on making the Lumia Lens Wheel....
    Learned a few thing I didn't know...
Worth the $$$ for me just for the info...
