diode is outputting 1000mw after optics 800mw so a big loss but...
I still say we need to split that beam in half... not sure what axis, and put it on top of the other side to get two 12.5 mm beams at 18 meters... I think that would be as close to a "square beam" as we are going to get.

If you really managed to get the blue to 3x2mm and only 30mm at 18m i think you can call yourself a master Andy !
Well done, i am so curious how you pulled it off man !

    yep 3x2mm @ 30mm @ 18 metres

i hear what your saying and i kind of agree 30mm wide isnt the greatest shape beam. but you have to weigh things up here and im impressed with the beam ive manged to get. reducing the size at apeture means i can combine more together without loosing any off the galvo mirrors

so why wont you share your idea on optics ??
    thats just teasing
When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

I would say your using. A 2:1 expander..

I reckon I could get it a lot smaller when I find some spare time ;-)

mmm.. how did you do that ?
Did you maybe place 2 prismpairs behind each other (no idea if that works hahahaha).
Just guessing mate, i am really impressed by 3x2mm...
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

I'm curious why you don't want to post the details. I understand that you make and sell laser modules, but not sharing valuable information is only detrimental to the community.
Plus now I'm extremely curious what it is
