Ooohh I got my new sound card!
Now all the artifacts are gone, so turned out I was just using a crappy sound card...!
This means that it's almost time to hook up the laser!
Just need to do some modifications (the opamp circuit to produce the +/-5V doesn't work properly yet) and it's ready to shine!
Below you can find a pic of the output voltages on the scope screen..
