What do you mean by for software it's too expensive?
Pangolin QS is software AND hardware (fb3)
that still makes it to expensive :/
if it was 300 dollar i'd think about it.
if it was 250 i'd buy it.

Moncha Lite including the DAC is no cheaper:

    $680 = £429 = 504 Euro

In fact, it's more expensive than QS.

That's for an EU supplied version. Remember if you buy the US version, you'll pay import tax that will almost certainly take it back up to the same price level as EU version.

Francesco is a Dutch Pangolin Dealer who can supply you with QS locally.

QS is also the more fully featured programme in my opinion.

Dr Lavas ILDA SOS is a great programme and can still be used with QS as although you can't export to ILDA, you can import ILDA files into QS.

I was just looking at adding this type of functionality to Spaghetti 2 days ago, actually. Implementation will come but not in the immediate future.

    I'm not aware of this.

QS will work with all common medial players though such as Windows Media Player and QuickTime.

It also, offers the other options Laserwinkel said of changing on beats 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 giving much more scope for allowing each effect to be fully seen before the change occurs whereas 1 beat changing in any programme can be a bit hectic with upbeat music such as dance.

You also don't have to apply sound reaction to just the main workspace. There are 4 more individual VJ's that can run on each line of the Quick FX window thereby changing QuickFX to the beat as well. All 5 VJ's can be run independantly or togther.

I'll try and post a video up later.

Still a bit groggy as I had an operation on my neck yesterday to remove a swollen lymph node. I now have Frankstein's Forehead on my neck!
