    Default Modifying psu nessacary?

Next month or the month after il be probaly buying 2 new modules for my laser projector. A red and green module with analog modulation.
But i am wondering if the module and driver will be enough. Wont i need a better psu as well, that feeds the drivers? The current one converts the 230 or 220 into 7 and 12v for the lasers currently installed.

Maybe it is possible to modify the psu so it gives more voltage?
Or is buying a new one a better idea?

    Thanks

The green should come with its own PSU, usually 5V. Red maybe not, but in my experience when you buy a commercial module, it comes with driver and PSU.

If both are using 5v what they sometimes are, it's possible to use 1 large (for instance 10 or 12A version) for both.
In my projector i use a 25A 5V powersupply to power green blue and red, for a total of 22A.
Also the Blue needs 1A 12V for something (maybe the peltier ?)

So when you mail the companies also ask how much current each module draws.
Then go to Ebay, type in Power supply 5V, check FREE SHIPPING on the left and for 40 euro's and 2 weeks waiting you have an excellent powersupply !
    From 2A to 25A. Easy peasy m8 !
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.
