Save a copy of your current workspace as eg. "Atmospherics".

This ensures the original remains intact as this copy is the one you're going to alter. (The original will already be saved under a different name).

Re-load that workspace using "open workspace" and then by selecting the "Atmospherics" workspace (ensures you have the right one loaded).

Go through the tabs and right click and choose delete on any non atmospheric tabs. Continue that until all you have left are the desired pages of atmospherics cues.

    Save the workspace once more.

You should now have a cut down Atmospherics workspace with your original workspace intact, and you're simply able to choose between them by loading whichever you want by using open and opening the named workspace of your choice.

    Not enough memory I'd say.

I've just checked and on my desktop I'm running 1.27Gb with Windows 7 64 bit, AV etc alone in idle state.

Start QS and this rises to 1.69GB with QS loaded but idle.

That's an idle load of 420mb for QS.

If you only have 500mb total memory then you have insufficient to run Windows and QS as I'm sure XP needs around 250mb alone so if QS is taking 420mb then you're into scratch disc territory...

I've also just checked on the QS website. There are no official memory specs stated but it does state a minimum of a dual core processor so you could be light in both areas. Sounds like new Laptop time.

He can probably roll you back so you can run QS 1.0.

However, QS 2 will need a new PC by the sounds of it.

BTW the firmware is stored on a chip in the FB3 itself.
