Default chroma on windows 7 64bit

I installed the virtual basic runtime as found on the ftp server
    MCRInstaller.exe
This installed on my windows7 64 bits system a folder
    C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Compiler Runtime\v711
i then tried to run the chroma executable but got a message that a mclmcrrt711.dll file was not found.
I copied the mclmcrrt711.dll file to the windows system folder and retried.
    No luck so far.
I didn't do anything with the path settings because i couldn't get it to add from a dos prompt.
    Suggestions?

Make sure you have the latest version. I have Win 7 64 bit and it runs fine.

    Otherwise, PM Tocket.

copy the chroma.exe into the bin directory of matlab
    i run win7 64 as well.
Make sure the chroma.exe is in the directory with the dll it says it misses.
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

I installed latest version, this installs Mathlab, then used the provided chroma, doesn't run, complains still about dll missing.
Put executable in same folder as dll, start chroma, nothing or missing dll.
    strange.

Put the .dll in the directory of the program itself.
After that you could try using dependancy walker maybe more .dll's are missing.
