    Default Design / Maths question

    ok here the situation, ive got a bit a aluminium 70mm wide.

    i will be using a 4mm flute/cutter.

    i need to work out equal spacing so i can mill, gap mill gap mill gap. but everything needs to be equal.

    so what gap size between each cut? cant be any thinner than 2mm

    Cut offset 6.7272... wall 2.7272...

    10 cuts 4mm cutter each cut is offset 6.7272 (repeating decimal)
    Start with a 2.7272 wall you'll have 11 fins and 10 cuts

    10x6.7272 equals 67.272
    70-67.272 equals 2.728

    oh right im with you.

    but will that leave a 2.7 wall either end?
