I noticed that people want to have things yesterday and think that i,m only busy with lasers. I have a normal job and also a lady that ones in a while wants a little bit attention.

Before i sell 1 unit i will post some pics of a full working blue doing 4 watt. I dont like selling modules if they are not what they should be.

Because everyone is also in need of red i,m doing some testing for those units also. So if anyone needs a laser yesterday sorry can,t do. Just be patient and i will post some pics hopefully next week.

A small update about what i,m working on. The last couple of weeks i have been testing my red modules. I,m pretty sure what i need to finish the red modules so i can start focusing on the blue modules. I need to order some parts to finish my 9 setup red module so in the mean time i can start building the blue setup. I will start today with building and i will test the proto type. If i,m satisfied with the beamspecs i will post some pics. Most people need red so of course testing was main priority. If i don,t have parts to do testing i will work on the blue,s.

    New update:

I have started with building the setup that combines 4 blue diodes. I have build in such a way that i can stack the beams in different ways with different lenses. I know the mayority of people say there is only one lens to collimate the blue but i rather test different lenses to see for my self what i like best. I prefer a fatter beam that just fit 7mm scanner mirrors with a low divergence like 0.8mrd. I will stack the beams in different ways so that i can see what happens at aperture and at far field. When i,m satisfied with the results of the prototype i can start building the blue,s

Hey there Edison. May I make a suggestion for the future? Perhaps don't word your opening thread in such as way as to make people think you've got three of something for sale and give specifications... when you haven't even built or tested anything yet. It sounds like you have a goal for what you would like the specs to be on these but aren't sure yet.

I understand you make some VERY nice stuff, take pride in your designs and want to help people. That's cool and everything. But, perhaps consider asking, "who would be interested in a project like this?" instead. That might keep people from being impatient. I know for me personally, I was under the impression your 1 watt blue was ready to be mailed when I bought and paid for it a while back. (We still need to sort that out - I found out Marc hasn't been in touch with you.)

    Just a suggestion,
    ~Brad

(I just re-read this. I'm not trying to sound negative... just offering an observation and suggesting as to why some people might be impatient and, what you might do to avoid that in the future.)

All people that are interested have send me a PM. Most PL members are hobbyists and they are not in a big hurry. The price is lower but there is a downside. You have to wait a month or 2. If you do,nt like the way how i work, why not buying a Kvant from Marc? He helped you allot with building a Projector. He didn,t contact me regarding the blue but i,m sure he will. I have send him a PM but no responce so he is probably busy

There is a groupbuy going on for these:

No offence but they are waiting since the beginning of JUNE last year so i think i,m pretty fast in developing

If you want things fast ask Marc he is a top Bloke and i,m sure he is willing to help you to the big blue that your interested in

I'm not in a big hurry either. Thank you for the link to the thread though. I remember seeing that awhile back. Looks like an interesting kit.

I'm just now beginning to learn a little more about building these and starting to aquire parts. It's quite an art!

If you have quesions do,nt hesitate to ask. For big reds you need a telescope. This is the best thread on PL that shows how it should be done Thanks to Andy :
