That looks great, just wait 'till they have an led source for those Vari's, you could run the whole shabang from batteries

    Default Spot One

Check out the GLP Spot One. GLP makes the Impression. The Spot One is a 600W multi color LED Source, 2 rotating gobo wheels, prism, zoom, focus, frost, full featured light. Haven't heard the price yet.

That was a promising light, I'll still have to see it for myself. Why can't every profile fixture have CMY, 2 rotating gobo wheels and Zoom..?

Maybe they can fix the issues with it.

I heard of a 60W Single White Emitter being used on trains. Hopefully it will make it in to a light soon.

Have you checked out the Elation Platinum Spot 5R Pro and 15R Pro. The non pro versions are lame but the pro is really solid for the consumption and price.

Hey maybe I'll get to work with you guys when you play the Moody in Austin (ACL Live). Hit me up if you guys need a local crossrental.

I'm no expert on really high end moving heads, but those lights are within my price range, and i was VERY impressed with the Platinum Spot 5R. Very even field and WAY brighter than my American Dj Accuspots (250 Watt Discharge)..

Cool. A now retired lighting director I used to work with in the 80's worked for Varilight for a number of years. Back in the early Vari days! Man it's changed...

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    Thumbs up

I have ten of these fixtures.. they are very picky about AC frequency, we had some problems running them on gensets (must be dead-on 60 or 50HZ).

When they work, they are really nice tho... light ouptut is almost the same as my MAC250 Kryptons... two gobo discs make for some nice effects combo.

Big bonus is light weight and very low power consumption.

If you are interested in buying... I can get them directly from PRC at a low low price!

    Cheers!
