    Default Affordable scanfail....??

Ok, so as the Gento group buy thread is over a year old now, and there's probably quite a few members joined since then, what are the options today for affordable scanfail?

Is anyone retailing Gento's device (Mccarrott?)?
What is the Guido's device dave mentioned in an earlier thread?

Again, i think the keyword here is affordable and yet easy to setup/maintain

    cheers

We have been using the scan fail sold on mylaserpage.de.. Very no frills device, that does what it needs to.

Medialas sells a simple analogue card too

Thanks Dave, how do you find those boards in practise? Can you still use targetted beams with them, or will it blank the lasers? Any other info you could impart?

Dave, I can't seem to find the scanfail unit on medialas website. And being a US fellow, trying to understand mylaserpage.de to order the scanfail is a bit of a trick. I mean... I can add it to my cart, but thats about as far as I can get with out being able to read German.

    Anybody have any other suggestions?

    Hi,

if you are interested in the Safetys just send me an E-Mail to gj@mylaserpage.de

This Time the Page is only in German Language....so just contact me by Mail. No Problem.

One Problem are the Shipping-Costs...nearly the same Price as one Safety itself :-(

    About the Safety:
    - 5V DC Powersupply, < 150mA
    - 4 Optocoupled Modulation in/outs
    - Feedback Input max +/- 10V DC
    - Response Time <20ms
    - One Zone, invertable by Jumper, full Width, Height is adjustable by adj. Resistor
    - Interlock-Inputs for Keyswitch, ILDA-Interlock, Emergency-Stop
    - Jumper to disable Safety for Laseradjustment

Other Problem is the bad exchange Rate from US$ to Euro. This Time 1 Euro is about 1.38 so the
Safety 89 Euro = 122$ If there is someone else interested and you buy >= 25 pcs. the Price will be
    90$ e.a.
    Greetings
    Guido

You're using the wrong shipping company if its costing 90 euros to ship 1 circuit board from Germany to the rest of the world.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
