Default Looking for awesome thumb screws

Hello! I have been on the hunt for some thumb screws for my projector case group buy. I need four for each case to hold the aperture cover in place. I have found load and loads but most of what I have found is plastic. I don't really want to dull the look of this case with plastic thumb screws. I have also found a bunch of steel ones but they only had silhouettes for pictures so I don't know what they actually looked like.

Something like what Kvant uses picture here http://www.lasershow.sk/products/39-...-spectrum-2000

They look to be black anodized aluminum but I can really find them anywhere. Google is great but can sometimes send you spinning in circles.

I have come up with a solution but it is a bit of work and I wanted to know if anyone knew where to get what I'm looking for before I spend any more time. Something like 10-32 thread (or m5).

I found these http://www1.mscdirect.com/cgi/NNSRIT...-SearchResults and I could just powder coat them to match the cases but I would like to avoid that.

Looks like there are some options for PC style thumb screws. Any of these work?

Thanks but I am looking for something a bit bigger. Since they will be used to hold the aperture as a beam mask in some cases I don't want them to able to rattle loose and slide down. I was thinking around 10-32 at the smallest (and with larger size heads for more torque)

I have talked to my paint shop guy and he says it wouldn't be too bad to get the plain ones (link above) powder coated black. I think that would look really good if they matched the rest of these case but if I can find some pre-fab black anodized ones it would certainly save some time.

Way back when I was in the paintball gun biz, we used to use these hard plastic thumb screws that would press fit over cap head allen screws. Add a dab of epoxy and they were tough as nuts! I got a whole bin of them in 10-32 size. I don't know if they made them bigger than that but they are sexy, good plastic, and grip on better than you'd think.

Here is a pic of what they look like....

You could also place a neoprene o ring between the plate and the projector case to allow some compression and hence tension with a finger tightened screw.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Awesome! Do you have around 100? and could you send a pic of the other side. Thats the side I am more concerned about since it will be visible.

    Thanks

Actually that's a pic from the interwebz. The flip side looks just flat and machined. I'll see if I can locate my stash of them tonight but they may be at my warehouse. I just recently moved so I lost track of some things. I'll let you know when I find them. I probobly do have around 100 or so.
