im sure a bit disappointed because no retina display...but the thinner look and A5 made me do it. and it probaly got more ram to, so the UT3 games will have better textures as well. (and a infinity blade update was just released so it cant be coincidence)

now i have to lose my current ipad 1g 32gb 3g... anyone? :P

Getting it? Hell no
Get yourself an good EEE-PC with touchscreen, cheaper and has way more features than that restricted OS.
want it for controlling lights or anything? Get yourself a tablet and you can use all the PC compatible software right away.
Also allows you to hookup your dac with lasersoftware to your EEE-pc... Now thats what I call talking
A thiner ipad? Why thinner... It's still big in size.
Expensive to take just everywhere with you.
And if you drop it or slip it out of your hand *which you will more likely with a thing like that then it's bye mister screen*

If you want a good camera get one with a proper size lens and not that small size one on the Ipad
If you want a proper thing to record stuff with then Get a proper camera. it's not nice to hold that big thing still or place it down to record now is it, it will look retarded holding a big square in front of your head while you are recording. :P

If you want the Gyro so bad then just add it to your EEE-pc seperate
if you want to call and have internet, get a modem.
Even this together can still beat the ipads size (also get a proper keyboard)
And secondly you wont end up with your device being so much lowered in value once a new one comes out *rendering aps made later on slow... or unusable*.

If you want to buy it for a games, get yourself that 3DS for handheld or get a PS3

I mean what improvement is there in making the ipad thinner?
I think it will just make it more inconvenient to hold.

But really it's still big in size as in width and height.
if they were a bit more thinking they could just leave the thickness as is and use the free space for more Actual features that will make an ipad special...... but noooooooooo
