here a better version of booty dance.
point count is constantly 1000 (optimized with ildsos)
at a specific part *but it's short* the point count rises a bit.
But furthermore it stays at a constant 1000 pps.

Default Day one was a moderate success.

First, sorry about the last post of emoticons. My 12 year-old was having fun on my computer when I walked away.

THANK YOU to everyone for all of the frames and comments in this thread.

I was able to use many of the frames from your collection Mike. Not the porn, just the shots of the women.

I cut usable portions of the original bootydance and used them last night.
I'm downloading and importing the new optimized version of bootydance for the show I am doing tonight. Very excited to see it optimized and to be able to use it tonight.

Unfortunately, the lady I was working for was suppose to get up the screen. She didn't in
time. So, without a ladder I put up some spandex in the middle as high as we could reach on a chair. After a while, we decided it was too trashy looking, and I just projected on the balcony wall (windows and dark shutters, too). It was OK, but not nearly as good as having a white screen across the length of the balcony. I'm doing that tonight myself.

My laser also still has the color problem, weak (473nm 80mw) blue is useless with so much ambient light at the distance of about 70 feet. The red is decent power, but the divergence is crappy so it takes away from it's definition and intensity at that distance. The green is 120mw, so it's decent, but still has the blanking problem. By showing the blanked lines in animations, it really takes away from the clarity of the image. I tried the 2n2222 transistor and resistor combo to no avail. Think I'm going to buy a new 250mw green from laserworld that works properly. Although I'd rather be buying more powerful blues and reds first, getting the animations bright and clean in green seems the priority.

I'm yet to download and use ildsos myself. I have it that I can't really create much of use because I'm using Laserworld Showeditor software. Anyone else use this? Should I do Pangolin?.... Quickshow? Mamba? What's the most affordable step up that's practical?
That's a whole different conversation, sorry.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE FRAMES. I'M TAKING PICTURES. I'LL POST THEM SOON.

So, I'm my own worst critic. Maybe? We'll see...
Here's pictures... For those who've never made it to Mardi Gras, sorry.
    Crazy fun...

But is it just me, or are there some blanking problems on some frames?
Or is this just the camera?

    MASTER P.J. ---- FROM A PREVIOUS POST:

    >>>>>>>I turn the laser system on and the green laser comes on, I turn the key on and it stays on, I display .heb files (Laserworld designation) and IT SHOWS ALL THE BLANKED LINES (SOLID). The Red and Blue lasers perform perfectly. The only time the green laser is off is when I'm displaying a figure or animation that has other colors. It's like it does everything in reverse. it's always on, instead of off like the others (no safety at all). and it displays the (blanked) lines which ruins the animations. I've tried every possible combination of color correction settings to fix it. I've switched the wires and outputs from the board to the other colors and everything's the same! The same wires that mess the green up, work fine with the other two and vice/versa.<<<<<<<<

In response on PL, I was told chinese lasers look for source instead of current or something like that and that I could fake a ground with a 2n2222 transistor and a resistor. I purchased them and tried every combination I could think of to no avail. I think I'm going to go ahead and purchase a 250mw green from Laserworld and use the screwy one for other effects. Need a 445nm blue as well to match. The 100mw 473nm blue is not cutting it at all.
