Those guys are Holospectra... I've bought lots of stuff from them
in the past, they're good at what they do and quite trustworthy, but
not exactly the fastest shop on the planet... They took 6 months to
deliver a custom scansystem which they claimed could be
finished and delivered in 2 weeks. But I have no complaints about
the quality or design of what they delivered...
They sell the font converter as well as some realtime control software.
I wasn't necessarily impressed, but definitely it does what it claims it does...
Some of the guys there are kind of spacey and from what I could tell
they avoid email like the plague. Your best bet is to actually call them
and wait till you reach Bob or Bill as they're the most senior...
Cool! Thanks for the Info... So, Hmm, Sounds like the software is just ok at best? Sure wish there was a demo before i toss good money out the door....
Maybe i will just stick with Anarchy.. It does a nice job......

Man, you have no idea how true that is. Ive heard from a few people who got buyers remorse *after* seeing the pangolin software.Originally Posted by LASER-AD

Hi Spec,
When I first read your post, I was surprised. I thought we had an ample number of screen shots on our web site. But upon closer review, it looks like you are right. We do have some screen shots of our newer products:
http://www.pangolin.com/LivePRO.htm
http://www.pangolin.com/LD2000/lc-max_how_it_works.htm
And plenty screen shots of our SMS products:
http://www.pangolinsms.com/product_imu.htm
We also have a number of pictures of ancilary features and the "results":
http://www.pangolin.com/LD2000/compa...er_systems.htm
http://www.pangolin.com/wideangle/index.htm
But overall I would agree that there probably are not enough pictures and screen shots, especially of the main LD2000 product itself. Thanks for pointing that out.
The whole site is probably overdue for a revision. We have some ideas of where we would like to go, but not too much time ourselves to make the changes (since most of our time is spent developing software). As a side note, if there is anyone here who has decent web skills and would like to make some extra money, please drop me a line. We always like to work with skilled individuals towards win-win relationships.
As for the "buyer's remorse" part, they must have never checked back in with us... We are still the only company in the laser industry who offers a 90-day money back guarantee. If anyone is not completely satisfied with our software, they can return it for a full refund.
Best regards,

PS: I think that the products from Holo-Spectra (laserbill) are pretty decent.
Thanks for all your Insightful information Bill! I do appreciate it!

Thanks for the kudos Laser-Ad (cool logo by the way).
I am not sure how insightful *these* remarks were. In fact, I think Spec was the insightful one, by pointing out that we need more screen shots on our web site. Over the years we have worked hard on the site. It has over 750 HTML pages and, including the files, tops 1.5GB!! I do hope we can improve the site here and there. As I said, we have some ideas of where we would like to go, we just need to take some time and effort to implement it.
