    Hey Shawn;

    Contact the venue manager (Reggie Helton) at the Newton Connover Auditorium where we have SELEM every year. He was looking into a motorized roll-down screen for a large DLP projector he bought for the auditorium. I'm sure you could replace the screen material with a scrim...

    Anyway, he should have some leads.

    Jon had a 20x40 foot motorized screen that he didn't have plans for back when SoCaLEM was taking place...

    How does 20' x 44'-bigger sound? It's a genuine Stewart FilmScreen top-roller/assy, with an RP screen on a mighty-large roller... highly-likely the screen is 'jelly', by-now, (this thing is 15+ yrs old, but has been in storage at our shop for 10+) but only looking to get ~$750. for it... which is less than 1% if its' original cost (~$77K, yep (!)...)

    You'll need a flat-bed, of course, but heck - you could probably cut it in two, in-place, here, and end-up with yer 20'er, *and* a 'replacement' roller / motorless roller for another purpose.... it's like 2 fer less than the price of 1!

    PM me yer # if ya wanna chat...
    thx
    J

    PS - if you're looking for *scrim* to go with this top-roller, I can also recommend something inexpensive for you, as-well... we had 3x 20' in a recent install... unfortunately, those all sold in '09...
    ....and armed only with his trusty 21 Zorgawatt KTiOPO4...
