SOLD!
Finally getting around to selling this laser. While I'm a pretty unknown quantity here, I do have at least something of a reputation on LPF - hopefully someone can vouch for me.
What I have here is a Viasho 1W rated 532nm system that's doing 1.4W in near-TEM00. I'm including two power supplies. The first is a CDRH-type power supply that's adjustable, with a key switch, interlock, current display, and adjuster. It does 1.4W on this power supply at full current. One axis is slightly faster than the other. The full angle divergence is 1.1mRad on one axis and 1.3mRad on the other - quite good for a laser like this.
I'll also include an OEM power supply (since I suspect anyone who wants this is going to be putting this in a projector). While it is matched to this head, I had Viasho tune the laser around 9 months ago (mode wasn't good for what I was doing) - so now the settings are slightly different. However, this PSU has the same board with the row of pots like the CDRH supply does - without the transformer for mains power and adjustment. It should be trivial to get out a DMM and match up the settings.
This laser has gone back to Viasho twice. The first time, it was running in an annoying transverse mode (not near-TEM00) and modehopped like crazy. This was June of last year. It went back a couple months ago because (apparently) a component in the power supply went bad. Since I've gotten it back, I haven't used it at all really. It has Viasho warranty until May 9.
This system has probably a total of less than 30 hours or so on it. I was using it to develop the firmware and software for the Kenometer LPM's. I no longer need this laser for that purpose, so I think it's time that it moves on to a happier home inside a projector.
I'd like $900 (or best offer) + shipping. Should be about $35-50 in the continental US.
Drop me a PM if interested. If you'd like to chat on the phone (or Skype?) to speed up communication, I'd be happy to do that.
