I guess what Doc might be enquiring about is how much to buy it so you can cancel the auction and avoid all of the ebay/paypal costs (which account for about 20% of the final value) and also any potential mucking about from unreliable buyers.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

i am new to selling stuff on ebay (i usually buy stuff not sell ), yes this is only the 4th item i have listed and i have already been mugged off by someone winning a bid and then saying they no longer want it.....lot of faffing about..........i take your point.

i'll let it ride a while and see how things go, obviously i am trying to get the best price for it, i guess i could contact doc and see what his best offer would be................i might then have to work out how to cancell the listing
    i'll contact doc now...........

I'll tell you how much you'll likely get for it, as I've been watrching ELO touch screens for a couple of years (one can never have enough touch screens )

The serial version will fetch about £100 average, a bit more if you find a mug, but there's no guarantee.... Of course there is the risk it won't fetch that...

So, if it were me and someone was happy to pay £70-£80 without all the grief I'd take it, as its guaranteed, and ultimately you'll end up with about the same money in your pocket.

Cancelling the auction is as easy as editing the listing and stopping/deleting it
