    Unhappy Snoc Electronics

    Uphill struggle,

    Make what you want from this,

    Ordered December 2010

    1 x 445nm 1000mw Analog
    1 x 650nm 1000mw Analog
    1 x 532nm 500mw Analog

    2 x Set of Dicromo's

    Recieved Mid Jan 2011 except Dicromos was missing,

    Packaging was good, beam specs were what was advertised,

    Power out was

    445 = 1.1w
    650 = 1.1w
    532 = 700mw

    532 is only TTL, cannot get Snoc to change without paying more

    445 and 650 althought having an analog and TTL connector, will only work with TTL, cannot get Snoc to accept there is an issue.

    Communications are poor now we have issues, over the 45 day chargeback period, don't know if this is what he wanted.

    Good relations cost nothing.

    Update: May 3rd 2011 : Modules are going back to China tomorrow, have to foot the bill (£29.35), Red down to 220mw and blue to 700mw, Green will be changed but surcharge will apply, no other way out, at least there is communications now and hopefully I can report back a positive outcome !

    Update: June 22nd 2011 : Modules Back, 532 changed and working correclty (another £90.00 Lighter), 650 New Module, New PSU, still the same issue with Analog, will only work with TTL, and the Blue turned up as a Green 150mw Analog, Snoc says wrong laser was sent and wants me to return green so he can swap out with the Blue, again carriage at my cost another (£20.00).

    Really thought I was getting some where but alas different month same Sh**.

    Update: July 21st 2011 : Modules back again, 650 module changed to different Modle (another £85.00 Lighter), both returned and both work,

    Althought this has been what it seems like an great uphill struggle, I have eventually ended up with what I ordered.
    It has been difficult at times communicating with Tony, just because of the language, but in the end i must admit, He has resolved the issues and kept to his word.

    So in summing up I would say,

    Tony is a trustworthy dealer,
    Make sure you and he understand what is being ordered,
    Specs of modules are exactly what he has specified,
    Green is good, Blue is good, red is good.

    Now to build the projector.
