    Default SELLING: Edison 445 quad module pair

    For sale:

    brand new, Edison 445 quad modules.
    1 Module measures 1.5 watt. (all 4 diodes working)
    2nd Module measures 2.5 watts. (all 4 diodes working)
    1 module needs a tec replaced.

    to be sold as pair only. (will not seperate)

    So you're asking the same amount of $$ as you purchased these, while they were meant to be 4 W each?

    yes sir, at least, you wont have to wait 10 MONTHS , like i did

    Hey sorry if I missed it somewhere, but those posts were kind of long to read. Why did they came underspec?

    Thats a very good question,
    Im going to start by replacing the bad tec module and continue from there.
    all 4 diodes are working, so im going to seperate the 4 diodes from 1 driver, by adding a 2nd driver to drive 2 diodes in series , so as to isolate a possible bad diode or bad driver.....
    all diodes blink out, if i ramp up the current on the 1 driver, past 1.2 amps.... so im not sure why its doing that.

    as of now, im waiting for 2 extra drivers, and new tec's.....

    I would say it's bad drivers. Those diodes are tough as hell ( c@sh³o ones , not sure about the red though ), if ESD didn't kill them, imo it would be impossible to die off ONE single driver. You might try to repair them as you said, then sell them, so that you elimite any chance of broken diode/driver and avoid experiencing a non-pleasant deal.
