Does anybody know where I can get the popelscan.mld from, the medialas manual says it is downloadable from www.mylaserpage.de but I can't find anything on there!
I don't speak german though.
Any help appreciated.

That's the popelscan program.
I need the driver for the popelscan dac to use it with Mamba Black, it's not included with Mamba Black medialas just tell you to download it from the popelscan/mylaserpage site.
Its a DLL renamed to .MLD

There is, you access it through the colour settings menu, you can set up to 2 dacs.
It even has a dedicated button for the popelscan dac.

Mamba Black does have support for paralle port DAC's, but if you don't have the driver (actually it's just a settings file) then you have to configure the port manually.
I hooked my Alphalite DAC up to a computer running Mamba 2004, and I was able to get the galvos to move. However, I couldn't get the laser to turn on. I need to talk to Rick Gebhard and see exactly what signals are sent to the parallel port for the Alphalite. Then I should be able to control it from within Mamba.
In the case of the Poplescan DAC, I'm not sure whom you'd need to ask in order to get those settings right. I suppose you could just tinker with them until you got it working, but there are a lot of options to try! It would be best if you could get some info from the author of the software.
