When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.
What software are you going to be playing them back on?
I can make you some Fb3 files but can't help with the ILDA.
I'll put some up just in case.
Aussie Flag:
Sydney Opera House:
QS has planes, boats, Kangeroos, sea, surfing animations as standard so some scope there for a show.
If you need ILDA, someone else needs to help out in that regard.

Australian State Map:
Australia - State Map.zip
What you could do Chris is what Ministry did in their one of their videos and tell a story of your firend coming to the Uk.
So you could start off with the state map, then general images of Aus ie surfing, kangeroos, beaches etc. then go back to the state map, zoom into a labelled point of where your friend lives and then go to images of a car journey down a plam tree lined road into a city with the image of Sydney Harbour Bridge. From there you could go to the 747 image and maybe scan a part global view from a map showing Aus and the Uk then plot a trace from one to the other with a static plane going across the globe to the UK.
Then maybe another car journey and culminating in a welcome and firework animations.
BTW, all the animations you need for that are in QS apart from the global view which can be created from a partial global map scan, a static frame from the QS 747 spin animation (pinch one!) and an automatically created animation using the global map view with the plane at aus then at the Uk then animate used to create the in-between.
Just a suggestion.
If you want to get really clever, and have a scrim, then you can do a beam show to music getting ever more complicate and spectacular with the animation as culmination. This is what ministry did.

Hey Badger
I alway thought a good Aussie song to make a laser show too would be Men at Works "I come from a land down under"
Great lyrics to map frames to
Traveling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,
"Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscles
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich
And he said,
"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
Lying in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw, and not much to say
I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me
Because I come from the land of plenty?"
And he said,
"Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
