    Good News...

Altho, We still have not finished the combined Reds, We did improve things again.. The driver boards just were not perfect yet.
So everything got put on hold to do just this..

    The analog tests went fine...
They will blank to over 30khz easy, in fact the new boards
went way past that to over 100khz on the Wavetek sweep generator with 50 percent duty cycle squarewaves. They didnt get dirty . very clean.

At 0volts the beam is totally off.
I did bump the control input voltage range to operate from 2 to 5 volts.
This was to include operation for Pangolin systems.
Also,.It is input limited, Which means it does not have to be exactly +5 volts
    at the upper limit.
I have seen other designs from respected manufacturers that if you went above +5 volts it would overcurrent the diode and pop em.
    Not with these...

We have decided to include this design into all maxyzmodules lasers.
    Analog and TTL...

If you already own one or more of our units and want the new driver board
we can do it for a small fee plus shipping., PM us and we can discuss your needs...

    Thanks again

I combined my 2 , 200mW units using 2 , MM1 adjustable mounts for the 45 degree dichroic mirror and the cube beamsplitter/combiner and got 400 mW output.
All I have to do is include a pinhole to mask out the star line abberations when I integrate it into my RGB projector.

I haven't tried to modulate them yet but it's a beauty to behold.

My 200mw modules are going in for the driver upgrade and with luck, I'll have the RGB projector going in time for my buddies graduation party on the 27th

What ever happened to the Gallery ?
I don't have any web space to post pictures unless someone can point me to a free site.

Unless you have a smoke machine or lots of dust in your atmosphere don't expect to see a solid beam with the lights on.
I have a high quality Ionizer and hepa filter on my high efficiency gas furnace that cleans up the air a lot.
Also note I measured 400 mw right at the output. The picture on the wall is at least 12 feet from the laser and power drops off exponentially as per the inverse square law but it's still plenty bright in person.
I have my digital camera set for standard PICs. If I set it up for long exposure I could probably capture a solid line as well but that's cheating.
