Laser Warning Ugly box PJ BUT....

    Hi all

And now, I Proudly present the Ugly box PJ but with nice gadgets.
    (at least for me).

1- Back sliding door (for red adjustment).
2- Front doors, beams and dichros.
    3- 2x 642nm making 245mW *
    4- 532nm 200mW.
    5- 445nm 500mW.(with prisms).
    6- DT30s

*BTW I'm driving the reds at 280mA. any suggestions? (HL6385DG)
Can I go higher, and how much?

    Cheers,
    Ed

    For me it's ok

some people say it's ok @300mA...maybe..but winning 50mw or buying a new diode..that's the question !
(I prefer buying good optics to win those 50mw)

    Default red diodes

i reccommend you get those reds tec cooled they dont like heat at all
and are happier at 25deg c. then they are happy to run at the i,max of 350ma
    which is what i do.
get your self a temp readout fixed to your case and put the probe on the base plate and if that plate get any higher than 30deg while in use switch it off as the diode temp will be hitting its 40deg max
    just my 2cents worth
When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

    Thumbs up Thanks

    Just finish, and working.
    first pictures.(Michel).

KL79 Good advice about optics. (o-like lens, I think is not very good) Dichros are fine and cube.
But in the galvos the mirrors are other story.

badger1666 Im gone to check the temp. Thanks.

And Adam, the inside are beautiful isn't it? with bugs and all.

    Cheers,
    Ed
