When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.
I like these following links:
http://www.lanlinglaser.com/sdp/5172...tificates.html
and:
http://www.lanlingtech.com/about/&co...bout_list.html
The first link has a scan of a letter from the FDA and a accession number of 0810190-000 ??
But I'm generally dubious of all of those certificates - the CE/ROHS ones look fake to me, but I'm a untrained eye.. anyone else have an opinion on those ?

All looks kosher to me.

You have to make an account to download though
I don't mind uploading a link here.
However I doubt you will read out these comments.
Anyway if you have trouble reading our english text, this summerizes all what is being said:
親愛的深圳,請給我們一個證明,較低的價格出售是合法的。
LOL-
Well, I cant comment on the CE certification, but the CDRH certification looks bogus to me. I am *NOT* saying that is, it just doesnt look right to me. All of the letters I got from the CDRH ususally has the letter printed on their letterhead.
See here:
Also,
I can literally send a report in for a Laser system using 500W of I.R. lasers and put on it "crowd scanning laser in q-switch mode" made inside of a shoe box and i would get an acknowledgement letter worded the EXACT same way. It *DOES NOT* mean that the product is "Approved" (or insert word of your choice here) to sell and bring into commerce here in the United States. It simply means, "Hey- we got your report. Here is your Refernce number (accession #) to reference your submission."
This letter (if its even real) proves ZILCH, ZERO, NADA, ZIPPO, NIET, NUTTIN on the products compliancy.

Hi Marc,
I take it you didn't read the text above the Approval Stamp ?
It's starts with Mister Yankee man..... and it's hilarious....
It was a joke, what is not a joke is that they sell the lasers claiming to be something they are not.
I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.
Yep in those links they definately are and that being the case you can't blame Lanling for selling them off cheaply as they're no doubt wanting to get selling the new FB-QS stock. I wouldn't have thought Pangolin would have had any objection to reduced price stock clearance of older products.
However, as I said before, the problem in the Uk at least is that customs have got really hot against literally everything coming in now so its almost certain you'd have to pay VAT & Import Tax which would probably result in a price not disimilar to the new version bought from Rob. They even tried to charge me on a recent gift from a friend outside the EU! Got it sorted but they were quite persistent on proof and required a written statement from the sender that it was gifted!!
I know Jem had similar trouble with a laser simply returned from overseas repair.
However, it may make more sense with importation in other jurisdictions.
