    Post Tips for a Newbie...

    Hello, Im new in forum,

Im portuguese (sorry for my bad english) and Im newbie in laserworld / show. I'm a DJ, with my father (professional) and we want to bought a ILDA laser, Laserworld CS-500RGBV V3 Laser, my friend who sells us the material, he advised us of this laser and Mamba Black software. But I have got a Macbook and I want to work in mac but I've seen it only works on windows... true?

What software do you advise? Is to work in professional party's

P.S - Where I can download shows and animation to put in program? We have a logo, we can play on laser?

    Thanks,

    Hello PepperBeatz!

First of all, welcome to Photonlexicon (PL for short)

    What is your budget?

I think considering on your needs you are fit for either Pangolins Quickshow (and fb3)
And if your budget is quite decent then you might be able to buy Livepro with it too

Just make an estimation on how much you can afford for the software, because if you really want to go professional then I guess you can't go wrong with pangolin my friend
As say for example you got a really good budget and which I think you have seeing you bought a laserworld RGBV laser projector.
Then Go for the LD2000, when it comes to frames features and anything else, it's the best.

Many others can agree on this.

Yes in quickshow you can all do what you want.
And you can download shows from the pangolin showportal for free, once you purchase Quickshow with Fb3
It comes with many frames packed once you purchase and the software is easy to use.

The fb3 is also very small and compact

    you can purchase it on:
    http://www.pangolin.com

They offer the best support that i've ever seen in my life.

FB3 is the hardware for controlling your laser.
You get the FB3 when you purchase quickshow.

Livepro is an extra add-on wich you can buy separate, it is more focused on live shows (and advanced).
However you can do live shows with Quickshow itself too.

Livepro is also more complex, so not a good way to start with right away, Quickshow Is all you need
You cannot buy Livepro standalone you either need the LD2000 or the FB3.

Inside quickshow you can create logo's and images yes.

No Quickshow or any other lasersoftware on the market does NOT work with mac.

However you can use mac's time-machine to run windows, then you can use quickshow or any other software.
